Marion G. Twiford

Marion G. Twiford, 76, of Valley View passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 in Denton.

He was born September 30, 1933 in Richmond VA

to St. Claire Twiford and Annie Lee Johannes Twiford.

He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1971.

He married Fely Villasario on April 14, 1985 in the Philippines.

He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 920 in Denton

and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Denton.

A funeral service will be Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 6:30 p.m.

in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.

A visitation will follow the service. Burial will be Friday, April 23, 2010 at 12:30 p.m.

at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.

He is survived by his wife, Fely Twiford of Valley View; son, Dennis G. Twiford of TN;

brothers, Curtis Twiford, Bobby Twiford and Calvin Twiford, all of Virginia Beach VA.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
